My journey to improve my health and diet started 12 years ago. I had always thought I ate pretty healthy, at least by the average American standard of what was considered healthy. Yet despite this, my husband and I were experiencing health and fitness issues.
I went on a quest to learn more about nutrition and its effect on our bodies. Through my research, I realized that what I thought was healthy, really wasn't. I then sought out ways to change our current diet to healthier choices.
Our journey to better nutrition surprised us in not only how much better we felt but how our health and fitness issued resolved themselves.
Taking control of my health through better nutrition made me realize how much potential I have to change things in my life. To become healthier, happier, and to make a difference in others' lives.
My new-found love for exercising and eating healthy - coupled with the results I saw in the mirror and my desire to help others - led me to obtain a Precision Nutrition certification as a Nutrition Coach.
