Life should be an adventure, filled with the things you love to do, and that includes eating. You can trust me to help you develop a way of eating that meets your unique lifestyle needs and desires while addressing your challenges.
I believe our nutritional needs are as unique as each one of us and there is no one diet that fits everyone. The advice and support I offer will be based on who you are, not who I (or the latest hype) think you should be.
I believe your nutrition should support your lifestyle, your dreams, goals, and desires. It should support being healthy, active, and as issue-free as possible. It should also be enjoyable, exciting, and full of foods that you can easily eat for the rest of your life.
If you are visiting this site, chances are you have a goal to eat healthier, be healthier, or maybe feel or look better. Those are all awesome goals and goals are definitely worth having. But here at Breakfast Club Nutrition, we don't focus on goals, we focus on systems.
Changing the way you eat requires changing habits and how you identify yourself through those habits. We'll focus not on "what" you want to achieve but "who" you want to become. The goal shouldn't be to "eat healthy". The goal should be to become a healthy eater.
Few things can have a more powerful impact on your nutrition than improving your daily habits.
Goals are about the results you want to achieve. Systems are about the process that lead to those results. Systems are the "how" to the "what". The small steps and changes that will lead to big results.
I believe we'd all like to eat healthier. But when is this goal achieved? What defines "healthier"? How do you get there? What happens once you are "there"?
Unless a system is in place, achieving a goal only changes your life for the moment. In order to improve for good, problems need to be addressed and solved at the systems level.
Focusing on a system rather than a goal is at the core of what I do. In order to "get healthy" or "eat healthy", we must first define healthy.
What is healthy to you? Do you know to plan healthy meals, shop for healthier products, cook healthier meals? Does your body react in certain ways to certain foods? How will you fit a healthier diet into your lifestyle, your work schedule, your family's likes and dislikes? These are the systems we will address that will get you to your goal.
You may already have some of these systems in place, yet need help establishing others. That is what I can do for you. I can help you establish your systems, change your habits, and make your goal not only achievable, but sustainable.
Whether you need a "complete overhaul" or help in certain areas, I offer individual sessions designed to address your specific needs.
Your success in developing healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime means a lot to me and you can feel confident that I will be here to guide you through your journey and help you establish the systems that will help you reach your goal.
Depending on your goals and your dedication to you establishing your systems, you can expect to: eat better - without feeling deprived; feel better and have more energy to do the things you love; ignore fad diets and conflicting advice; attain and maintain your goals - even when life gets busy; let go of food confusion - learning what to do and how to do it ; incorporate healthy eating into your family's lifestyle; get off the diet roller coaster once and for all - and NEVER look back.
